Sanshara was born from a deep love of creating with intention — of making something meaningful and beautiful with my own hands.

Based in Australia, Sanshara is a single mother–owned artisan brand creating small-batch jewelry and handcrafted pieces from recycled leather and natural stones. What began as a personal creative practice — working quietly at home while raising my two children — gradually grew into a purposeful business and way of life.

I am a self-taught artisan, and every piece is created entirely by hand. My journey began with the simple desire to transform forgotten materials into something lasting. I work with reclaimed leather, honoring what once was and giving it new purpose through careful craftsmanship.

The leather industry produces an estimated 800,000 tonnes of waste each year. By using recycled leather, I aim to reduce impact while creating pieces rooted in respect, sustainability, and care.

The name Sanshara is inspired by the Sanskrit word Samsara, meaning “the circle of life.” I blended influences from Russian and Nepali language to form SANSHARA — a name that reflects transformation, renewal, and continuity.

Born in Russia, I carry a deep personal connection to shungite, a carbon-rich stone from Karelia. Shungite has long been valued for its grounding qualities. Working with it feels like working with a piece of home. I carefully select each stone and craft it into jewelry, honoring its natural form and unique character.

Motherhood and artistry exist side by side in my world. I create slowly, without machinery, guided by patience and presence. Before beginning any piece, I take a moment to center myself, ensuring that intention moves through my hands.

Sanshara is more than a shop — it is a reflection of resilience, conscious craftsmanship, and meaningful creation.
