Sanshara was born from a deep connection to the natural world — and to the quiet power held within stone.

What began as a small handmade craft practice slowly evolved into a purposeful artisan brand centered around shungite: a rare carbon-rich stone sourced from the ancient region of Karelia, Russia.

Born in Russia myself, working with shungite feels deeply personal. It is more than simply a material to me — it feels like working with a piece of home. Every stone carries its own texture, weight, and history formed over billions of years within the Earth.

At Sanshara, shungite is at the heart of nearly everything I create.

From handcrafted pendants and sacred geometry pieces to grounding tools and home objects, each creation is designed to bring a sense of balance, calm, and connection into everyday life.

I carefully hand-select every piece of shungite for its natural beauty and character. No two stones are ever identical. Natural textures, pyrite inclusions, markings, and variations are embraced rather than hidden — allowing each piece to remain authentic to the Earth it came from.

Alongside shungite, I often work with copper, recycled leather, and other natural materials that complement the stone’s raw, grounding presence. Every item is handmade slowly and intentionally, without mass production or machinery.

Sanshara is a single mother–owned Australian small business built from home while raising my children. Motherhood and artistry exist side by side in my world, shaping the rhythm and intention behind everything I create.

The name Sanshara was inspired by the Sanskrit word Samsara, meaning “the circle of life.” The name reflects transformation, renewal, continuity, and the deep connection between people, nature, and the cycles we move through in life.

My work is inspired by nature, simplicity, grounding practices, and the desire to create meaningful objects that people can live with every day — pieces that feel tactile, calming, intentional, and real.

This is not fast fashion.
This is slow creation.

Every pendant, carving, and handcrafted object carries time, presence, and care within it.
